God Unborn- 9 Months between the Angel and the manger
Both Lives Matter’ and the ‘Evangelical Alliance’ have worked together on producing a resource for parishes entitled ‘God Unborn: 9 months between the angel and the manger’. They are inviting Christian churches across Ireland to join with them in prayer on Sunday 26th March to celebrate the gift of human life and the Incarnation; God the Son being fully divine and fully human from the moment of conception. On their website (God Unborn - Both Lives Matter), they have produced a number of videos. They have also produced the attached leaflet to this email which includes the script of the videos, a prayer for life and a series of Lectio Divina meditations for possible use throughout the week. ...
Diocesan Vocations Retreat 2023
On the Feast of the Good Shepherd, 29th April, the Irish Bishops are launching a Year for Vocation for Diocesan Priesthood with the theme: “Take the Risk for Christ”. The year will allow us to focus our energies and renew our prayer for Diocesan Vocations. The National Vocations Office will distribute resources in the coming weeks. This year, the Drumalis Vocations Retreat will be co-hosted by the Northern Dioceses. By coming together, it is hoped that we can share resources and create a supportive atmosphere to the men discerning priesthood. Fr Stephen Langridge (former National Vocations Director for England and Wales) has kindly agreed to direct the retreat. Could I ask that you share notice of the retreat in your bulletin and perhaps announce it at Masses.
