Prayers for Marriage and Family Life October 2023

Dear Friends,

The signs are all there at present that the summer is finally over!! It was lovely having the ten days or so of sunshine at the beginning of September to help us get ready for autumn. I had a really good summer and I hope you had as well.

Attached is my input for the Continuous Prayer for Marriage and Family Life for October. The theme is an important one – family reconciliation. I hope you will find the attached helpful for your day of prayer during the month. Thank you for your efforts at keeping this prayer going as it is becoming more and more important as the years go by.

I will be praying for you every day in October again, as I have been doing during this month. I pray especially each day for the parishes and groups that are praying on the day. But I pray for everyone who is involved in any way in this prayer. Please pray for me. And pray for all the other parishes that are part of this special ministry.

God bless you and all your loved ones. And may God’s blessing be with the people of your parish, especially during this month of the Synod in Rome. Thanak you again for all your goodness and generosity.
